Marc was trained as a jewelry designer. The first piece I saw from him was a chaise longue. It had the beauty of an Etruscan sculpture crossed with an Aston Martin (in fact he has one). There was also something of sixties modernism in him but not in a retro way but a thoughtful continuation or progression.
